Navet is the Tax Agency's system for distribution of population registration data to the public sector. Through our integration you get access to current data about people registered in Sweden - directly when changes occur in the population registration register.
We help authorities, municipalities and regions get access to Navet in a simple and secure way.

What is Navet?
The Tax Agency is responsible for population registration, which is the fundamental registration of the population in Sweden. Population registration records information about identity, residence and family relationships.
All authorities in society have the right to obtain information from population registration through Navet (the Tax Agency's system for distribution of population registration data to society) which is updated continuously throughout the day as cases are registered in population registration.
The register contains all persons who are registered or for other reasons have been assigned a personal identity number or coordination number.

Navet is available to public actors who need population registration data in their operations:

NOTE: Private companies, organizations and associations do not have access to Navet but are referred to the State Personal Address Register (SPAR).
